The catalan renewable energies and energetic efficiency company is going to provide near the 85% of its total prodution capacity during 2014.
Tamesol, the solar photovoltaic modules manufacturer with its headquarters in Campllong, Girona (Spain) continues its strong international expansion signing his major photovoltaic modules providing agreement untill now in Rushden, in the Northamptonshire county (UK).
We are talking about the first solar energy modules with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certification, required in UK to comercialize solar panels inside the goverment’s financial support. To obtain this certification, Tamesol had to invest an amount of 120.000€.
This powerful business agreement it’s based on providing a total amount of 144.000 panels of 12 and 24 MW, that will be distributed in three phases, starting the providing at the end of 2013’s december and dividing the next deliveries in February, March and April.
On the first stage of the project, Tamesol will provide 48.000 250W units, that will give to the british village an amount of 36 MW that will occupy a surface equivalent to 33 football stadiums, and will meant a taffic of 210 containers that will arrive in Felixstowe’s port. This operation will suppose an income of 18€ milions.
” We are in our best moment, closing important deals. After a few years working improving our modules we have achieved to considerably expand the efficiency without influencing on the production costs”, says Patxi Otamendi, Tamesol’s CEO. “We are going to bet strongly for 2014, we are investing a lot of resources in marketing, we want to take advantage of the good moment of Tamesol as a brand and reinforce our quality ans service posture”, clarify Otamendi.
The photovoltaic company will ratify its interest for the UK market attending to the reference trade show of the industry in UK, Solar Energy UK, where it will have an stand to offer his TM-Series products.
Furthermore, confirms its assistance to the InterSolar Europe trade show that takes place in Munich.
About the future forecats, the company works in the UL Certificate, requirement needed to comercialize photovoltaic modules in the United States market, which it suposses to the company an investment of 150.000€.
After starting an stage as a solar panels provider in Germany the last November, Tamesol launches right now its major project of photovoltaic modules provision whith which pretends to grow its income to a total amount of 18€ millions during 2014. During the next year, the brand expect to provide near of the 85% of its total production capacity, which is around 150 MW/year.
So England joins the foreign countries like Germany, Romania and Italy, where the catalan Tamesol has realized the majority of its sales during 2013, achieving to close this year with the best economic results since 2005, when the company started its activity.
